I-VoIP presents latest collaboration between Netgear and Skype.

The SPH200D lets you use Skype without a computer and it also operates as a normal landline phone. Simply plug the dual-mode Cordless Phone base station into your wired or wireless broadband router (using Ethernet ports) to make Skype calls.

In addition, you can plug the base station into your phone line (PSTN) wall socket to make land-line calls all from this one cordless phone.

With the SPH200D you get 3 key benefits:

The unit includes a base station, cordless handset and charging dock. Simply plug the base station into your router and existing landline and plug the charging dock and phone into a power socket.

THERE IS NO NEED TO HAVE YOUR COMPUTER SWITCHED ON AS THE SPH200D PLUGS DIRECTLY INTO YOUR BROADBAND ROUTER.

The phone is well made with the quality that you would expect from a Netgear product. Furthemore it has a smart feature which lets you sign up and log into skype all through the handset meaning you dont need to shuttle backwards and forwards between the computer and phone during setup.

Overall then the phone is a great cordless dualphone with some neat features, its easy to setup and easy to use as well as being pleasing on the eye (If you dont mind the by the numbers I-Pod style appearance)
